Discovery World is proud of our commitment to providing experiential learning and educational programming to people of all ages in Milwaukee and around the world. In 25 years, hundreds of thousands of young people and their families have benefited from hands-on technology exhibits and educational programs.
Since the grand opening of our new 120,000 sq. ft. lakefront museum in September 2006, Discovery World has:

Completed the world-class Helen Bader Foundation's Great Lakes Future ™ - View the world's largest model of the Great Lakes built to scale while you learn about native amphibians, reptiles and fish.
Opened the Milwaukee Area Technical College-sponsored HIVE ™ (Human Interactive Virtual Education), the only total immersion virtual reality experience open to the public in the United States.

Each year a black-tie fundraiser is held to reach out into the community providing an opportunity for corporations, foundations and individuals to experience the best of Discovery World and at the same time invest in its continued future.
